Motoman MotoPallet EG

MotoPallet EG is a palletizing software package that works with MotoSim EG enables an easy formation and simulation of robot palletizing jobs. It can also bring in existing pallet configurations from CAPE software, an industry-leading palletizing software package. Its layer patterns can be cleared with the use of drag-and-drop tools and set to create pallet loads in a variety of configurations. Virtual robotic palletizing cells can be utilized to optimize cell layouts and make robotic palletizing jobs for lower cycle time and utmost product output. Robotic palletizing jobs can then be downloaded openly to the robot controller, reducing on-line programming time. Its features are intuitive, easy-to-use drag-and-drop graphical layer editing; simulate pallet builds on PC before implementing in real world; create pallet jobs off-line while robots are running other jobs; create named or numbered jobs; build pallets while maintaining box orientation (labels out); if labels out is not a requirement, it can further reduce cycle time; optional checkbox for slip sheet and slip sheet dimensions; and users are able to choose from default pick and place templates or customize application.

Motoman MotoFTP

MotoFTP is a PC-based software package that enables users to upload and download robot files to and from the robot controller. It also allows a user to match up to files on the robot via File Transfer Protocol (FTP). It features are: (1) it upload files from robot controller to PC, depending on security level, (2) it is able to download files from PC to robot controller, depending upon security level and operating mode of controller, (3) it compares uploaded or downloaded files with stored files on PC for content changes. Its three levels of security are: (1) Anonymous which allows the following to be performed: saving job (.jbi), condition (.cnd) and data (.dat) files; (2) FTP which enables the following to be performed: loading and saving job (.jbi), condition (.cnd) and data (.dat) files; also saving system information (.sys) files; and (3) NXmaster or Xmaster (controller-dependent) which permits the following to be performed: loading and saving job (.jbi), condition (.cnd) and data (.dat) files; also saving system information (.sys) and parameter (.prm) files. Its capabilities includes the ability to upload/download files to/from robot controller via FTP connection, the ability to compare files to identify changes to previously backed up programs, and it provides three levels of security

Motoman FDDWIN32

The FDDWIN is communication software utilized for storing and administrating robot controller files on a personal computer. It enables to return the controller’s external floppy disk drive and utilized the computer’s hard disk for storage space instead. The program is started on a computer and then activated from the controller. It can be associated to up to four robot controllers at the same time. On the other hand, it depends on the number of available serial ports on the computer; it is more suitable to simply plug into each robot controller in turn. This program is suitable for control systems ERC, MRC, XRC and NX100. Some of its functions are: (1) downloading files to the controller, (2) manual backup from the controller, and (3) copying files from robot to computer, such files as the robot job, parameters, application data, system data, tool data etc. Files with .jbi extension are known as Motoman Robot Job Files because they are developed with the use of the Motoman robot programming software. Motoman software is the main application to open and view JBI files.
