MatchWare Mediator

The latest build of MatchWare Mediator 9 incorporated various features from the Pro and Exp editions into this comprehensive multimedia and web authoring tool. The new look is based on the Office 2007 interface, which is already familiar to Windows users who'd intuitively know how to use the application. The software now reads and renders Unicode-based characters, such as text in a foreign language, but it only allows left-to-right inputs. Enhanced features allow users to embed HTML and server-side scripts into the page and edit their source code for customization. Mediator also allows user-generated macros and runtime scripts written in Visual Basic or Java to run inside the page. Additional improvements include exporting projects with FLV videos and List Box objects into Flash, better synchronization of sound waves with actions, more text and paragraph formatting options, and smooth page transitions with 3D effects.
