HPI Instalit

HPI Instalit is an application that creates install programs for software. Applications created by Instalit are used as a program shell and the installation tool for its system. It uses 3 main windows that are programmable and editable to suit the user’s needs. These three are the greeting window, copy window and program window. Users can customize the windows by changing the border settings and appearance, window and text lines or by adding or editing the text. There are other windows used by Instalit. You need to key in the installed program’s destination in one window. The window displays the source file location and the destination of resources that the installed program needs. The copy window shows the status of the file copy from the installed file. This will also show possible errors such as similar existing directories and file names. HP Instalit also creates installers for pre-existing applications. Programmers can create tools using Instalit windows. PVL files act as the program’s libraries containing the source code for the processes operated by the program. Aside from the ability to modify windows settings, the user can also create new processes by using the commands inside the PVL file. When the user uses a command, the reference file within the PVL file will verify the definition of the task to be done.
